The UofL Alumni Association represents the largest single constituency of the University of Louisville and plays a major role in helping the University fulfill its mission of education, research, and service. The Association, a non-dues paying umbrella organization for more than 130,000+ alumni and adopted alumni, has served the University community for more than 87 years.
The following eight strategic goals were developed by the alumni relations office and the Alumni Board Planning Committee and adopted by the UofL Alumni Association:
Goal One: Establish the University of Louisville as a resource to and for its alumni.
Goal Two: Expand and enhance the communications between the University and its alumni and within the alumni body itself.
Goal Three: Elevate the profile of the UofL alumni both internally and externally.
Goal Four: Develop and implement diversified, meaningful, and comprehensive portfolio of engagement opportunities tied to constituent interests/segments and to University priorities.
Goal Five: Continue to strengthen the Alumni Association Board.
Goal Six: Expand and enhance alumni volunteer leadership opportunities outside of the Alumni Board.
Goal Seven: Integrate the alumni relations program as a key partner with the University's development programs.
Goal Eight: Develop and evolve the infrastructure (staff, programs, data, and systems) necessary to support the ongoing expansion and evolution of the alumni program and volunteer organization.
