Alumni Club Scholarships

The University of Louisville Alumni Association and its regional and national clubs have established several scholarship funds for students. Each program has various qualifications that must be met before students can apply. Questions? UofL Kentucky Alumni Club Scholarships

Bardstown
Criteria: Available to students from the Bardstown-Nelson County, KY area pursuing a degree at the University of Louisville who meet the minimum admissions requirements.
Award: Varies

Bowling Green/South Central KY Alumni Club
Criteria: Available to students from the Bowling Green - South Central KY area pursuing a degree at the University of Louisville who meet the minimum admissions requirements.
Award: Varies

Covington-Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Alumni Club
Dane Wagge Scholarship
Criteria:
Available to students from Boone, Kenton, Campbell, Grant, Carroll, Pendelton, and Gallatin counties in Kentucky or Hamilton County, OH pursuing a degree at the University of Louisville who meet the minimum admissions requirements. In addition, students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better on a scale of 4.0 and an ACT score of 20 or above.

Elizabethtown Alumni Club
Criteria: Available to students from the Elizabethtown area pursuing a degree at the University of Louisville who meet the minimum admissions requirements.
Award: Varies

Frankfort/Capital Region Alumni Club
Criteria:
Available to student from Anderson, Franklin, Henry, Owen, Mercer, Shelby and Spencer counties pursuing a degree at the University of Louisville who meet the minimum admissions requirements. Students will be selected on the basis of financial need and merit. Selected student must have a 3.0 or better cumulative GPA or previous college experience.
Award: Varies. This scholarship is renewable for up to 4 years provided the student maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and remains in an eligible degree-seeking status.

Lexington/Central Kentucky Alumni Club
Criteria:
This scholarship is available to students from Fayette, Jessamine, Woodford, Clark, Bourbon, Scott, Harrison, and Madison counties seeking a degree at the University of Louisville, who are graduates of a Lexington area high school. The recipient shall be selected on the basis of financial need. The recipient shall also have a 3.0 GPA in high school or previous college experience.

Michael R. Baer scholarship
Criteria:
This scholarship is available to students from Fayette, Jessamine, Woodford, Clark, Bourbon, Scott, Harrison, and Madison counties seeking a degree at the University of Louisville, who are graduates of a Lexington area high school. The recipient shall be selected on the basis of financial need. The recipient shall also have a 3.0 GPA in high school or previous college experience. Consideration shall be given to applicants whose father, mother, or guardian is a recovering patient, current patient, or victim of a terminal illness.

Pikeville/Big Sandy Alumni Club
Criteria:
Available to students from Floyd, Johnson, Magoffin, Martin and Pike counties pursuing a degree at the University of Louisville who meet the minimum admissions requirements.

Somerset/Lake Cumberland Area Alumni Club
Criteria:
Available to students from Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Laurel, McCreary, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Russell, and Wayne counties pursuing a degree at the University of Louisville who meet the minimum admissions requirements. Students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale and an ACT score of 24 or better.

UofL National Alumni Club Scholarships

Tampa Bay Alumni Club and the Chi Chi Rodriquez Foundation Internship

About: The Chi Chi Rodriquez Foundation and Tampa Bay Alumni Club sponsor this joint internship for a UofL student during their sophomore or junior year. The 8-10 week internship allows the student to perform community service in exchange for financial assistance from the club.

Criteria: Be considered a quality UofL student by faculty and peers in the areas of community and academics and provide the UofL Alumni Office a complete summary and evaluation of events and assignments during the internship.
Award: $100 a week stipend in addition to $3,000 in scholarship funds. The Alumni Office will cover the costs of transportation, but you are responsible for making your own travel arrangements. If you have any questions, please contact the Alumni Office at 502-852-6186.

Los Angeles/Southern California Alumni Club
Criteria: Regional high school senior or student currently enrolled at UofL, or another college, provided the student is from the Southern California area. The recipient shall have a 3.0 GPA in high school or previous college experience.

Metro New York Alumni Club
Criteria: Preference is given to Metro New York area students. The scholarship will take need into account.

Chicago Alumni Club
Criteria: Awarded to a student from Chicago or another regional club who attends UofL.

Houston Alumni Club
Criteria: Awarded to a student from the Houston area or another regional club who attends UofL.

Dallas/Ft. Worth Alumni Club
Criteria: Awarded to a student from the Dallas/Ft. Worth area or another regional club who attends UofL.

Indianapolis Alumni Club
Criteria: Awarded to a student from the Indianapolis or other regional area club who attends UofL.
