Welcome to the Golden Alumni Society

During this celebratory weekend, taking place during Homecoming week, you will have the opportunity to participate in a special medallion ceremony and luncheon, a campus tour, riding in a float for the homecoming parade and much more! See the itinerary below.

All University of Louisville alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago are automatically members of the society. Each May, we induct our newest members into the society at the annual Golden Alumni Induction Ceremony.

Medallion Ceremony & Luncheon

Remarks and presentation of 50 year medallions. Ceremony includes a special check presentation of lifetime giving for the class of 1967.

Campus Tour

2 p.m. | Shuttle departs University Club and Alumni Center

Join local historian Dr. Tom Owen on a campus tour of the University of Louisville's Belknap campus. You will not want to miss seeing the incredible progress and transformation of our campus over the past decades.

Homecoming Parade

5:15 p.m. | 4th Street & Cardinal Blvd.

Reunion guests are invited to participate in this special homecoming tradition. The class of 1967 and their guest may ride on the trolley or walk in the parade. A shuttle bus will depart from the University Club, drop parade participants at the start of the parade route, and bring participants back to the University Club following the parade.
