UofL Night at Shakespeare in the Park

Alumni and friends are invited to join the UofL Alumni Association, the College of Arts and Sciences, and Kentucky Shakespeare for UofL Night at Shakespeare in the Park. UofL Professor Emerita, Rinda Frye, will speak about Shakespeare’s "Magical Metaphysical Theatre" at 7:15 p.m. followed by Kentucky Shakespeare's The Tempest at 8 p.m. Dessert trucks and a cash bar will be on site.

Wear RED to the event and be entered into giveaways throughout the night.

About Dr. Frye: Dr. Rinda Frye came to UofL in 1981 after receiving her Ph.D. from the University of Oregon. She taught acting and stage voice, facilitating voice workshops nationwide and achieving distinctions particularly for her productions of Shakespeare. She served as director of graduate studies in Theatre Arts from 2007-2011 and department chair from 2011-2014. She was named Professor Emerita in 2014.
