About Misty Clark Vantrease


Misty is a partner at Kentucky ElderLaw, PLLC, and focuses her practice entirely on elder law. Prior to joining Kentucky ElderLaw, PLLC, she spent ten years as an assistant public defender, first in the general trial division and then in the capital division. She is a past chair of the Elder Law Section of the Kentucky Bar Association and is a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys and the Probate Section of the Kentucky Bar Association. Ms. Vantrease earned her B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Murray State University and her J.D. degree from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville.

About Kelly Gannott


As a partner at Kentucky ElderLaw, PLLC, Kelly Gannott appreciates the opportunity every day to help seniors and their family members navigate the maze that long-term care decisions can be. She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and is accredited to represent clients before the VA. A summa cum laude graduate of Murray State University, Kelly was a newspaper editor and reporter before becoming a lawyer, and she serves on the Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville.
