University of Louisville students: you’re not alumni yet, but you can get a jump on the benefits now by joining the Student Organization for Alumni Relations (SOAR). SOAR provides opportunities to network with UofL graduates and build professional skills, as well as plan and implement university-wide philanthropic initiatives and events. SOAR’s goal is to enhance the student experience by cultivating relationships between students and alumni, promoting student philanthropy, and building and preserving the traditions of the university.

As a member, you’ll be connected to a network of over 160,000+ Cardinal alumni. Plus, you will be able to take part in key university social events and career-oriented programs. Members also serve as hosts for alumni events and have the opportunity to connect with alumni mentors, providing invaluable networking opportunities. Ready to join? The 2023-24 SOAR new member application opens on Friday, Aug. 1, at 9 a.m., and it closes on Friday, Sep. 1, at noon. An application and Teams interview are required, but for those who become members, it is free to be a part of SOAR. Apply on Engage.
