Calling all Dental Hygienists! You are cordially invited to the 2023 Dental Hygiene Legacy Symposium on Saturday, October 21, at UofL’s University Club. The Symposium will include a vendor product showcase, 6 hours of CE, and networking opportunities. Lunch will be provided.
All are welcome! You do not need to be a UofL graduate to attend. This event is hosted by the UofL School of Dentistry Dental Hygiene Legacy Alumni Council.

8:00 a.m. – Registration
8:30-10:30 a.m. – “What Is That White Lesion?” presented by Brian Shumway DDS, MS (2 CEs)
10:30-10:45 a.m. – Break
10:45-11:45 a.m. – Vendor Product Presentations (1 CE)
11:45 a.m.-1:00 p.m. – Lunch Program: “Public Health Dentistry in Kentucky: Trends and Opportunities” presented by Alicia Whatley, MSSW (1 CE)
1:00-1:15 p.m. – Break
1:15-3:15 p.m. – “Periodontitis: Current Staging and Grading and Looking to the Future” presented by Adam Hall, RDH, MS (2 CEs)
